What is the Al Hosn App all about?
The Al Hosn contract tracing application was co-developed by the Ministry of Health and Protection and the local health authorities. Other government agencies like the National Authority for Emergency and Crisis Management also recognized and endorsed the said smart application.
Uses of Al Hosn App
The uses of the Al Hosn application are:
- to provide quick access to those who need the COVID-19 test results and
- contract tracing.
- The application is still in the development stage to include another feature, which is remote monitoring of quarantined persons. Once this third use is added, Al Hosn will relaunch the application to the public.
To download the application, the user just needs to go to the Apple Store or Google Play Store and search for the application. The download is free, no need to pay for it. The registration would take a couple of minutes and the user needs his Emirates ID, phone number, and one-time pin to successfully register.
