COVID-19 Cases in UAE Reach 2359 as 283 Cases, 1 Death and 19 Recoveries Announced

The latest numbers as of April 7, 2020 mention 283 confirmed cases in the UAE. This makes the total number of infections in the country to 2359. This was shared in a post from the official Twitter account of the Dubai Health Authority and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

Aside from the new cases, authorities also reported 19 recoveries which makes the total number of recoveries in UAE to 186. Sadly, 1 death was also reported which is from an Asian national and brings the total number of deaths is 12.

The newly reported cases were caused by not adhering to the preventive measures, not following social distancing protocols, and a also came from travels abroad.

The Ministry of Health announces the recovery of 19 cases and the registration of 283 new cases of different nationalities with the emerging coronavirus and one death

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced today that it has monitored 283 new cases of the new corona virus (Covid 19), which was identified by examining those who had previously reported infections, bringing the number of diagnosed cases to 2359. The new cases are due to different nationalities, all of which are stable and subject to the necessary health care.

The Ministry indicated that the increase in the number of injuries came as a result of the intensification of the investigation and examination procedures and the expansion of examinations for all citizens and residents, as well as the lack of commitment of the injured to preventive and precautionary measures, physical separation and quarantine procedures.

The ministry also announced the death of an Asian citizen who suffers from chronic diseases, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 12.

The Ministry expressed its regret and sincere condolences and condolences to the family of the deceased and its wishes for recovery for all the injured, calling on community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and adhere to social divergence to ensure the health and safety of all.
