  2. Don’t get in contact with someone who has the symptoms of respiratory illness.
  3. Wash your hands as often as possible with soap and water. If you can do it for at least 20 seconds, the better.
  4. If you don’t have water and soap in your area, use a hand sanitizer.
  5. Cover your mouth whenever you are coughing or sneezing.
  6. Don’t go out of the country if you are having the symptoms of COVID-19.

Things to Do if You Travelled to Countries with High Infection Rates and are Having Symptoms

If you have been to China for the past weeks or days and you are experiencing sickness, cough, fever, or difficulty in breathing, you should do the following:

  1. Seek the help of a medical professional immediately. But, before you proceed to the doctor’s office or the hospital, you should call first and tell them about your travel history and the symptoms you are having.
  2. Don’t get in contact with others.
  3. Don’t travel while you are sick.
  4. Always cover your mouth when you are sneezing or coughing.
  5. Wash your hands as often as you can with soap and water. Do it for at least 20 seconds every wash.
  6. Use a hand sanitizer with alcohol if you can’t wash your hands.
