The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has released a statement concerning the importance of de-escalation in the current tensions happening in the region. The announcement also emphasizes that these recent developments will not affect citizens, residents, or visitors to the UAE.

UAE reaffirms importance of regional de-escalation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said it was closely following regional developments, and reaffirmed the importance of de-escalating current tensions.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry stressed the importance of dialogue and political solutions in the current situation.
It also confirmed that recent developments will not affect citizens, residents, or visitors to the UAE.
The Ministry said that all sectors across the country continue to operate as normal.
On another note, the Government of Dubai Media Office has informed residents that rumors being circulated on social media and online about security threats targeting Dubai are “FAKE” as there have been no issue from any official source in the government of Iran regarding the said statement.
